ShoreTel Mobile Call Manager

February 10th, 2009 · No Comments

We give mobile employees access to the features inherent to their extensions through Mobile Call Manager so they can communicate more effectively and work more productively.  A much faster and more streamlined approach than the alternative dial up approach that traditional voice mails offer, allowing access to all extension capabilities directly from the user’s mobile device.

We define mobile employees not only by their classification as outside sales, field technicians or SOHO workers, but also for those employees who are commonly not  at their desk.  By utilizing the Mobile Call Manager you can drastically improve employee productivity in the following ways:

·         Active workers can instantly change their extension to their mobile phone or back again if and when they are away from their desk

·         Sales managers can change Call Handling Modes remotely, to remain accessible by customers

·         Traveling executives can quickly check their office voicemail on their mobile phones and see an on-screen list of all inbox messages, instead of dialing into the voicemail access line and stepping through its menus

·         Travelers can also quickly look up any contact from their corporate directory and address book

·         Telecommuters or occasional at-home workers can change their Office Anywhere destination

·         telephone to either a mobile phone or home phone

·         Field technicians can call customers back and show their corporate Caller ID instead of their personal mobile phone number.

Additional streamlined communications functions include:

·         Faster access to voicemail

·         Direct connection to the phone directory and calling history

·         “On-the-go” changes to personal options
