Brad Paisley Sings the Blues…

May 11th, 2010 · 2 Comments

Not even the rich and famous are immune to disasters so don’t think that it can’t happen to you.  Just take a look at country singing sensations Brad Paisley and Keith Urbanwho are two of countless musicians that will most likely lose millions of dollars on performance gear due to the historic floods in Nashville last week.  Paisley is one of an estimated 1,000 musicians and business owners who house gear at Soundcheck Nashville, a storage rental hub in an industrial park down by the Cumberland River. Owner Ben Jumper said the 160,000 square feet of space he rents out is all flooded and the losses will be in the tens of millions.  One of Brad’s Tweets reflects his positive attitude on this:

“Just saw two giraffes, two elephants, and two rhinos walking down the road toward a HUGE wooden boat.  Thinking about following them.”

As we have mentioned in past blogs, statistics show that over 44% of people and businesses have lost data that was crucial to them and over 50% of businesses that do lose that data are out of business within 2 years.  Whether it’s a tornado, flood or man-made disaster, such as the bomb planted in Times Square, there can be disasters lurking around every corner.  Securing your data offsite is a sure fire way to ensure that your company is taking the necessary precautions if such an unforeseen event occurs.  Getting you setup is easy to accomplish.  Give us a call at (972) 993-8800 or shoot us an email today so we can get a move on it!  After all, you never know what tomorrow might bring…..
